「第23屆科學與技術資料委員會國際會議」（The 23rd International CODATA Conference），將於2012年10月28至31日于位於台北南港的中央研究院舉行。此次的會議主題是「開放資料與資訊：變動中的地球」，就研究資料的共享使用以及出版資訊的開放近用等議題，進行研究討論。當今眾人處於劇烈變遷的自然環境，科學家如何經由大量資料的蒐集、整理、使用、與共享，而更能快速面對災害防治的嚴峻問題，也是這次會議的焦點。
